We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Treatment Coordinator to join our team. As a Treatment Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental office and providing exceptional patient care. If you have experience in dental scheduling, dental receptionist duties, and possess strong communication skills, we encourage you to apply.
Duties:
- Schedule and coordinate patient appointments using Dentrix or similar scheduling systems
- Greet patients and provide them with necessary paperwork
- Verify insurance coverage and assist patients with insurance-related inquiries
- Collect and process payments from patients
- Maintain accurate patient records and update medical information as necessary
- Assist with managing office supplies and inventory
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient workflow and patient satisfaction
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to maintain patient confidentiality
- Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries in a professional manner
- Provide support to the dental team as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a dental receptionist or in a medical office setting is preferred
- Proficient in using Dentrix or similar dental software systems
- Knowledge of medical terminology is an asset
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work well in a team environment
