Job Title: Medical Assistant - Dental Surgery Center

Job Overview:

Twin Cities Children's Surgery Center is seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at a state-of-the-art Dental Surgery Center. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to our dental professionals, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the center. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in patient care, administrative tasks, and maintaining a high standard of service.

Responsibilities:

Patient Care:

  • Assist dental professionals in various procedures, surgeries, and treatments.
  • Take and record vital signs, medical history, and other relevant patient information.
  • Prepare treatment rooms and ensure they are stocked with necessary supplies.
  • Educate patients on post-operative care and instructions.

Administrative Support:

  • Schedule appointments, manage patient records, and maintain confidentiality.
  • Coordinate with other medical professionals, laboratories, and suppliers.
  • Handle billing, insurance claims, and verify patient insurance information.
  • Perform general office duties such as answering phones and managing patient inquiries.

Infection Control:

  • Follow strict infection control protocols to maintain a clean and safe environment.

Collaboration and Communication:
