As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in patient care, administrative tasks, and maintaining a high standard of service.

Responsibilities:

Patient Care:

• Assist dental professionals in various procedures, surgeries, and treatments.
• Take and record vital signs, medical history, and other relevant patient information.
• Prepare treatment rooms and ensure they are stocked with necessary supplies.
• Educate patients on post-operative care and instructions.

Administrative Support:

• Schedule appointments, manage patient records, and maintain confidentiality.
• Coordinate with other medical professionals, laboratories, and suppliers.
• Handle billing, insurance claims, and verify patient insurance information.
• Perform general office duties such as answering phones and managing patient inquiries.

Infection Control:

• Follow strict infection control protocols to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with infection control guidelines.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient patient care.
• Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and external partners.
• Provide support during team meetings and training sessions.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a dental or surgical setting is an advantage.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
