Office Coordinator

Full-time | Logistics | Location – Reno, NV, 89506

As a key team member, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the upkeep and functionality of our brand new Reno, NV distribution center! Additionally, you will be responsible for managing and fulfilling various Human Resources needs, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation within the center.

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

You’ll deliver short and long term projects that support the business strategy. This will involve:

  • Ensures coordination with the Human Resources Department for current policies.
  • Responsible for new hire orientation.
  • Assist will call customers as needed.
  • Maintains petty cash fund.
  • Prepares weekly bank deposits for COD accounts, etc (daily deposits where applicable).
  • Understands all computer functions.
  • Enrolls new employees in health insurance.
  • Conducts employee meetings for insurance.
  • Verbalizes company changes via memo or meeting.
  • Coordinates workman comp claims with headquarters.
  • Monitors employee attendance tracking.
  • Monitors PAR program and creates monthly reports for distribution of PAR chips.
  • Must have general knowledge of human resources functions
  • Provides assistance in warehouse operations.
  • Assists with CRM complaints as needed, and prepares weekly claims reporting where applicable.

HOW TO SUCCEED / YOUR PROFILE

We’re looking for someone who can come up with simple solutions to complex problems. To join us you need:

  • Must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must possess a minimum of one year experience performing substantially similar essential functions
  • Must possess a minimum of one year experience performing human resources activities including conducting new employee orientation, interviewing and hiring, and employee relations
  • Demonstrates proficiency to perform basic accounting functions
  • Demonstrates proficiency using Google Mail, Calendar and Microsoft Office
  • Must be team oriented, demonstrate positive attitude and collaborate effectively with employees and management team to achieve goals
  • Demonstrates effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven experience and demonstrated ability to exercise discretion and maintain strict confidentiality
  • Demonstrates effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must be team oriented, possess a positive attitude and collaborate effectively with others to achieve goals in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
