Snell & Wilmer is Hiring a Legal Support Clerk / Office Coordinator Near Reno, NV

We are currently seeking a dedicated, self-motivated Legal Support Clerk / Office Coordinator to join our dynamic team in our Reno office. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of administrative duties. This position support our Transaction and Litigation Legal Administrative Assistants and works closely with, Attorneys and Paralegals. You work will directly impact our firm's ability to provide top-tier legal services.

The hours for this position areMonday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the office.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Perform administrative duties such as preparing check requests, time entry, and travel reimbursements
  • Assist with the billing process using our accounting software
  • Order conflict checks, open new client matters, and prepare engagement letters
  • Proofread, edit and revise documents as necessary
  • Electronically file documents using the firm’s document management system in a timely and organized manner, following the firm's protocols, naming conventions and folder structure
  • Update and maintain business development contacts
  • Respond to phone calls and emails in a professional manner
  • Develop and maintain smooth working relationships with staff, attorneys and clients
  • Open and close files
  • Prepare copies and binders as requested
  • Order office supplies, beverages and snacks
  • Place work orders with building management
  • Assist with planning and coordinating firm events

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Proficiency using Microsoft office products; familiarity with Accutrac and NetDocuments a plus
  • 1 to 2 years office environment preferred
  • Law firm experience is a plus
  • Excellent proofing and editing
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize efficiently
  • Strong attention to detail
