Snell & Wilmer is one of the largest and most prestigious law firms in the Western United States is currently seeking a Client Review Counsel to work in the Office of General Counsel in the Phoenix office.

Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Review, analyze, and provide comments on, Outside Counsel Guidelines, requests for proposal, client generated engagement letters, and expert engagement letters
• Facilitate, track, and help implement Outside Counsel Guidelines
• Work with and provide support to others in the Office of General Counsel, including Conflicts Counsel, Senior Client Review Counsel, and General Counsel
• Additional duties as assigned by the firm’s General Counsel

Experience and Qualifications:

• A Juris Doctorate degree and in good standing with the local bar or applicable state supreme court
• At least three years of experience as a practicing attorney, with contract review/drafting, issue spotting, professional liability, or loss prevention skills an advantage. Strong knowledge of ethical requirements a plus.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, decision-making skills and advising
• Ability to work effectively under pressure, to manage sensitive and confidential information, and to meet deadlines
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, a high degree of interpersonal skills, with strong attention to detail
