Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Teller to join our team. As a Teller, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing financial transactions accurately, and promoting bank products and services.
Duties:
- Process member transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and check cashing
- Assist customers with account inquiries and problem resolution
- Promote and cross-sell credit union products and services to meet member needs
- Ensure compliance with banking policies and procedures
- Balance cash drawers and maintain an accurate cash count
- Identify and report suspicious activity for fraud prevention detection
Requirements:
- Previous experience in cash handling or customer service preferred
- Strong mathematical skills for accurate transaction processing
- Knowledge of banking products, services, and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with cash register operation
