Tuskegee University is Hiring an Instructional Designer Near Tuskegee, AL
Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree in instructional design, educational technology, learning sciences, educational media, curriculum and instruction, educational technologies, or a related field with demonstrated experience in distance learning in higher education, knowledge of instructional design models, knowledge of learning management systems, skills in multimedia development, and experience in curriculum development.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Skill in integrating technology in a wide variety of learning environments.
- Skill in adapting to the needs of a changing program.
- Knowledge of instructional design principles and methods for online learning, including course development, curriculum, and course review.
- Knowledge of the assessment process
- Ability to create, implement, and train others in using a variety of graphics, multimedia, web-based, and social media applications in media content preparation, production, and presentation.
- Ability to implement instructional technology tools for online content preparation, presentation and production.
- Ability to work with diverse clientele and meet their instructional technology needs.
- Knowledge of accessibility requirements such as ADA 508 in online course delivery
- Proven customer services skills including positive attitude and ability to resolve problems or conflicts effectively.
- Demonstrated experience with designing courses using Blackboard
