Essential Duties and Tasks

• Generate and complete orders for routine materials, including office supplies, standard components, and consumables.
• Coordinate with suppliers and logistics providers to arrange timely and cost-effective delivery of materials to meet organizational needs.
• Monitor inventory levels and initiate replenishment orders to prevent stockouts.
• Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to orders, invoices, and quality concerns, working closely with suppliers and internal teams.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to purchasing activities, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to determine material requirements
• Researches products and services, follows trends
• May back-up other functions in the planning or other areas
• All other duties as assigned

Qualifications, Education and Experience

• Education required HS/GED
• Experience required 1-3 years in a manufacturing-related field
• Mathematical & Reading Proficiency
• Oral/Written Comprehension and Expression
• Deductive Reasoning / Inductive Reasoning / Mathematical Reasoning
• External Client Contact
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point), Visio, Outlook email and calendar.
• Maintains strict confidentiality and protects privacy of confidential/sensitive information.
• Exceptional time management and organization skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously establishing priorities to meet deadlines.
• Proactive; exercises sound judgment and decision making; able to identify problems and needs and develop solutions and/or options.
• Self-confident, self-motivated polished professional who thrives in a challenging, fast-paced environment.

Experience

• 1 - 3 years: Buyer experience within a manufacturing environment
