Turn Services is looking for an experienced Shop Diesel Mechanic (Engine Builder) with a focus on Marine diesel equipment and generators.

Pay: based upon experience

What You’ll Do:

• Perform complete out of frame diesel engine rebuilds on Cat, Cummins, and John Deere Main propulsion and generators.
• Perform diagnostic and repair procedures on all systems dealing with diesel engines.
• Dyno testing and setup for installation.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 3 plus years of diesel engine building experience.

• Proficient in computer skills.
• Must be self-starter. Ability to prioritize and adhere to stringent deadlines. 
• Strong written and verbal communication skills. 
• To supply your own hand tools.
• Valid drivers license and clean driving record.

Physical Requirements

• Must meet "fit for duty" requirements upon job offer (pre-employment physical and drug test).
• The employee must meet physical requirements including but not limited to, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, climbing up/down ladders and stairs, negotiating uneven and moving surfaces.
• Must be able to work in difficult conditions with exposure to all weather conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds.

Relevant technical school or certification experience a plus.
