Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide strong leadership to a global team of UNIX engineers, fostering collaboration and driving excellence in system design, implementation, automation, and maintenance.
2. Streamline deployment processes and enhance overall operational efficiency by using CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and automation tools.
3. Lead initiatives to design, implement, automate, and maintain robust and scalable UNIX environments, supporting the diverse needs of Jefferies' global operations.
4. Develop Terraform Enterprise and Ansible platforms modules, ensuring the seamless deployment and management of infrastructure as code across the organization. as
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement innovative solutions, staying ahead of industry trends and best practices.
6. Work with Business technology partners to understand computing requirements and develop solutions.
7. Establish and enforce security measures to protect UNIX environments, adhering to industry standards and compliance requirements.
8. Manage vendor relationships to evaluate platforms, understand implementation best practices, and troubleshoot operational issues.
9. Manage a team providing 24 x 7 operational support via Follow the Sun weekly work schedule and weekend on-call rotation.
10. Develop and maintain a product roadmap for services being developed and managed by the team.
