Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Landscape Technician to join our team. As a Landscape Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the appearance of outdoor spaces. This is a hands-on role that requires knowledge of landscaping techniques, the ability to operate power and hand tools, and a strong attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, edging, weeding, and pruning
- Plant flowers, shrubs, and trees according to design plans
- Install and repair irrigation systems
- Operate power tools and equipment such as lawn mowers, trimmers, and blowers
- Use hand tools for tasks such as digging, raking, and spreading mulch
- Assist with tree care including trimming and removal
- Maintain clean and organized work areas
- Follow safety guidelines and protocols
Experience:
- Previous experience in groundskeeping or landscape maintenance is preferred
- Knowledge of landscaping techniques and principles
- Familiarity with power tools used in landscaping
- Mechanical knowledge for equipment maintenance and repairs is a plus
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
