We are currently seeking a Landscape Supervisor to manage our landscaping teams and oversee the construction and maintenance of outdoor spaces. As a Landscape Supervisor, you will be responsible for training workers, supervising the use of equipment, ensuring safety guidelines are followed, and completing administrative duties. We are looking for a responsible, reliable, and motivated individual with a positive attitude and a passion for landscaping.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate landscaping projects, ensuring completion within the project deadline.
• Delegate tasks to 2-3 crews and oversee the use of tools and equipment.
• Recruit and train new crew members.
• Assess progress and make recommendations for improvements.
• Ensure all crew members adhere to health and safety regulations.
• Perform inventory checks and light maintenance on equipment.
• Prepare weekly progress reports and verify crew hours worked.
• Schedule training sessions as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in landscaping.
• Valid driver's license. CDL Class A is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge and ability to operate tools and equipment used in the landscaping field.
• Ability to work in all types of weather conditions.
• Experience in a leadership role is advantageous.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in using in-field technology for communication and reporting.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
• High school diploma, GED or equivalent. Degree in landscape construction is recommended.

Compensation

The salary for this full-time position ranges from $50,000 to $60,000 per year or $23 to $30 per hour, depending on qualifications.
