The Director of Learning Spaces and Facilities is responsible for oversight and management of all the School of Liberal Arts’ facilities, emergency preparedness, space planning, capital planning for facility improvements, and technology. This position supervises two full time positions including the Technical Manager and User Analyst II. This position reports directly to the Chief Business Officer. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities • Ability to lead a diverse team of professionals

• Knowledge of facilities
• Ability to manage a budget, following University protocol
• Ability to identify, schedule, and complete capital improvements within a timeline and budget
• Ability to analyze data and problem solve
• Ability to communicate effectively and provide excellent customer service

Selected candidates must complete and pass a background check and an occupational health screening as a condition of employment. For identified jobs, a drug screening will also be required. The background investigation, required occupational health screening, and any required drug screening will be conducted after a conditional employment offer has been extended. Required Education and/or Experience • Bachelor’s degree in a non-specific field of study
• 4 years of related experience, including facility operations, budget administration and staff supervision Preferred Qualifications • Master’s degree

• Facility experience at an educational institution
• Ability to maintain industry certifications related to facility management
