Tucson Unified School District is Hiring a Cafeteria Worker (Effective 2024-2025 SCHOOL YEAR) Near Tucson, AZ

SUMMARY
Prepares and serves meals and snack bar items from a steam table, grill, snack bar window, or mobile station. Collects and records payment for items received. Completes required logs and records. Position hours are adjusted throughout the year based on customer participation volume. Work may involve occasional lifting and carrying objects weighing up to 35 pounds as a regular part of the job.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Six (6) months food service and cashiering experience, or related experience.
Demonstrated math and reading skills at the fifth grade level.
Verbal & written communication skills in English and a demonstrated ability to read and comprehend written/graphic and oral instructions.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS AFTER HIRE
FBI fingerprint background check
Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization

Post-offer/pre-employment physical exam and 50lb lift test.
