The Bond Department oversees the planning, execution, and monitoring of bonds with a commitment to excellence, accountability, transparency, customer service, and collaboration. Reporting to the Bond Program Manager, the Procurement Agent manages the activities involved in the administration of District contracts and agreements. & Proficient in Microsoft ExcelMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field.
Four years experience in procuring/managing services and commodities contracts using sealed solicitation processes.
OR
Eight years experience in procuring/managing services and commodities contracts using sealed solicitation processes.
Ability to interpret and manage contracts and contract agreements.
Verbal & written communication skills in English and a demonstrated ability to read and comprehend written/graphic and oral instructions.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Three years of experience in procuring/managing contracts with a public agency.
CPPB, CPPO or other equivalent public buying professional certification.
Two years of experience in procuring/managing construction and professional services (architecture and engineering) contracts
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTSFBI fingerprint background check.Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization.

FTE: 1.0 – 8 hours per day Work Calendar: 12 month
Positions less than 30 hours per week are not eligible for district benefits.
