Shift Schedule:
  • 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM, Monday - Friday
Scope:
  • The Lab Tech will have responsibility over the Chemical Laboratory to ensure all Production Wet Processes and other related tasks are within specification.
  • Using Laboratory instruments, the Lab Tech will complete chemical analysis, enter results into to the TrueChem program, and identify required chemical adjustments.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Complete daily analysis worksheet by Titration, Potentiometry, etc.
  • Operate laboratory instruments (pH meter, Spectrophotometer, AAS, etc.)
  • Issue chemical additions and scheduled maintenance via TrueChem program
  • Prepare laboratory reagents
  • Calibrate and troubleshoot various process and replenishment controllers
  • Perform monthly tests (T&E, sample collections, etc.)
  • Complete/Participate in all necessary and related employee trainings
  • Coordinate with Chemical Service personnel regarding TrueChem addslips (chemical additions, bath changes and Preventive Maintenance).
Physical Requirements:
  • Occasional lifting and daily standing for several hours.
  • Requirement to operate production equipment/controllers.

Essential Knowledge and Skills:
  • Basic knowledge in Chemistry
  • Good verbal & written communication skills
Education and Experience:
Education:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Some college coursework preferred
Required Experience:
  • 1 year experience of chemical analysis in a Lab setting (Titration, Potentiometry, Spectrometry & Gravimetry)
Preferred Experience:
  • Knowledge /experience in instrumentation and TrueChem program a plus

Teammates in this role start at : $23.00, rates may be higher depending on experience
