As a Quality Tech, you will play a crucial role in maintaining high standards and contributing to the company’s success.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Update process job sheets and ensure accuracy.
- Conduct sand and metal sampling during production.
- Perform materials testing and metallurgical analysis.
- Compile and analyze foundry data.
- Manage test samples and maintain proper storage.
- Operate effectively in both lab and production environments.
- Maintain detailed test records and produce reports as requested.
- Keep work areas clean and organized to ensure testing accuracy.
- Follow standard operating procedures for sampling and testing.
- Communicate testing and auditing information to the organization.
- Adhere to safety rules and regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
- Effective time management and resourcefulness.
- Ability to make critical decisions following company procedures.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Reliable and accountable with a self-motivated attitude.
- Creative thinker and persuasive communicator.
- Capable of multitasking and working under pressure.
