Join our dynamic team as an EHS Specialist and play a pivotal role in managing Environmental, Health, & Safety concerns across our organization. You'll oversee individuals, infrastructure, production, and materials to cultivate a health and safety-focused workplace culture.
Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Environmental, Health, and Safety Science
• Strong EHS and Facility Maintenance knowledge
• Minimum 2 years of EHS experience
• Preferred OSHA Certifications (Hazardous Material, Machine Guarding, Respiratory Protection)

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct new-employee health and safety orientations and develop related materials.
• Identify and mitigate hazards; recommend protective measures.
• Train workers on safety equipment, hazardous condition monitoring, and safety laws.
• Select and lead EHS Committee volunteers.
• Plan and execute emergency response drills.
• Manage "right-to-know" programs for hazardous substances.
• Incident management and investigation to prevent future accidents.
• Inspect facilities and equipment for safety compliance.
• Compile and analyze occupational illness and accident data.
• Maintain hazardous materials inventories and ensure proper handling.
• Procure safety equipment to meet health and safety standards.
