At ACCESS, we're dedicated to fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence. As we continue to grow, we're seeking a talented and enthusiastic individual to join our HR team as a Human Resources Generalist.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment, Onboarding and Orientation:
• Assist in the recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, scheduling interviews, and conducting initial interviews.
• Coordinate new employee onboarding activities, including orientation sessions, paperwork completion, and trainings.
• Facilitate a welcoming and engaging new hire orientation that effectively communicates our workplace culture, ensuring every newcomer feels connected and inspired from day one.
Employee Relations:
• Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, providing timely and effective resolution.
• Support employee disciplinary processes in accordance with company policies and legal regulations.
• Serve as a trusted advisor and resource for employees and management on HR-related issues, policies, and procedures.
HR Administration:
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.
• Contribute to HR projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing employee engagement, retention, and satisfaction.
• Prepare HR reports and analytics to support decision-making and identify areas for improvement.
• Familiar with duties of other staff members and assists them with projects in peak times.
• Administer benefits programs and assist employees with inquiries related to benefits enrollment and coverage.
• Provide support for open enrollments, changes, and training for employee benefits programs.
• Aid in with Workers Compensation reporting and documentation.
• Help manage FMLA, Non-FMLA and Personal Leaves in compliance with Federal and State laws and company policy.

Requirements
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• Proven experience as an HR Generalist or similar role, with comprehensive knowledge of HR principles and practices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively with employees and managers.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and sound judgment in handling sensitive and confidential information.
• Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of Paylocity a plus.
• HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to talk, hear, reading, writing or typing. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. The employee is regularly required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to stand and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
