We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Daycare Teacher to join our team. As a Daycare Teacher, you will be responsible for providing a safe and nurturing environment for children while promoting their physical, emotional, and cognitive development. You will play a crucial role in creating a positive and engaging learning experience for children in our daycare center.
Duties:
- Care for and supervise children in a daycare setting
- Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities and lesson plans
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Provide guidance and support to children in their social and emotional development
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the daycare facility
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children, preferably in a daycare or preschool setting
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
- Ability to create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to manage behavior effectively
