SUMMARY

Interview customers and record interview information by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties as assigned.

• Communicate with customers by phone, fax, mail, email, or in person, receive orders, and handle customer complaints.
• Entering of quotes and sales orders into Epicor software.
• Contract review of new orders.
• Following up on late orders and expediting.
• Handle customer calls if Account Representatives are not available.
• Requesting material pricing for Steve Walker / quotes. 
• Coordinate quotes and delivery dates.
• Coordinate technical liaison services between customers and Management, Production Department, Sales Department, and Technical Department. 
• Confer with Production Department Managers to report on new product or process technology of competitors, and to discuss new specifications required by customers.
• Record, analyze, and inform necessary personnel of any customer feedback regarding production quality and the status of customer complaints and claims.
• Responsible for the maintenance of customer and distributor correspondence files. Input sales orders into Vantage software.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to communicate effectively. .

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
