Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Collection Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in telemarketing, account reconciliation, and medical collections. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment that values customer service and financial acumen.
Duties:
- Contact individuals with overdue payments to arrange settlements
- Utilize accounting software to track and manage accounts receivable
- Conduct account analysis to determine appropriate collection methods
- Collaborate with customers to resolve outstanding balances through negotiation and payment plans
- Apply knowledge of ICD-10 coding for medical collections
- Perform accurate account reconciliations
