Description

TSAOG Orthpaedics & Spine is a well-established and community-focused multi-specialty physician group. Our mission is to be trusted for patient care, based on our experience and traditions, as we have since 1947.

What you'll do:

  • Reviewing patient accounts to ensure that charges are accurate and complete
  • Coding and submitting claims to payers and government programs, such as Medicare and Medicaid
  • Working with payers to resolve claims that are denied or underpaid
  • Investigating and resolving patient billing inquiries and disputes
  • Managing patient accounts receivable and following up on outstanding balances
  • Educating patients on their insurance coverage and financial responsibilities
  • Analyzing revenue cycle metrics and identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and best practices

What you'll need:

  • Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within realm of responsibility.
  • Ability to read and interpret insurance explanation of benefits and managed care contracts.
  • Must communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with internal and external clients
  • Must be able to multi-task and handle competing priorities while meeting or exceeding deadlines is often required, along with certification in medical coding and/or revenue cycle management.
