Trumbull Dental Arts is Hiring a Dental Assistant Near Trumbull, CT

**Overview:** We are seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist our dental professionals in providing quality oral healthcare to patients. This is a great opportunity for someone with a passion for dentistry and patient care. **Responsibilities:** - Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations - Assist dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs - Take and develop dental X-rays - Maintain accurate patient records and assist with medical documentation - Educate patients on oral hygiene and postoperative care - Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations - Perform pediatric dental assistance when needed - Utilize aseptic techniques to maintain a clean and sterile environment - Familiarity with medical terminology and medical imaging systems - Proficient in using Epic or similar electronic health record systems **Experience:** - Previous experience in dental assisting is preferred but not required - Certification in X-Ray technology is a plus - Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology - Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment - Excellent communication skills and attention to detail This position offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced dental professionals, gain valuable hands-on experience, and contribute to improving patients' oral health.
