Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures and help ensure a comfortable and efficient patient experience.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations

- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment

- Assist the dentist during procedures as needed

- Take and develop dental X-rays

- Maintain accurate patient records

- Educate patients on oral hygiene and postoperative care

- Manage inventory and supplies in the dental office

**Requirements:**

- Completion of an accredited dental assistant program

- X-Ray certification preferred

- Proficiency in medical documentation and terminology

- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and compliance

- Experience with pediatric dental care is a plus

- Familiarity with aseptic techniques in a dental setting

- Ability to operate medical imaging equipment

- Competency in assisting with dental procedures

- Experience with Epic or similar practice management systems

Expected hours: 25 – 35 per week
