Please review the following job description:

Provide system support to teammates and managers for the Workday system, I-9 process, internet registration and Payroll by asking the appropriate probing questions to determine the level of diagnostic instruction needed. Process audit/exception reports to detect system and data inaccuracies and take appropriate steps to correct.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time. 
1. Support the organization by maintaining thorough knowledge of the Workday applications, Payroll Practices, Truist policies and procedures, and Human Capital Systems. Deliver the Perfect client experience while working under critical time schedules.
2. Provide managers with the necessary support to educate and ensure comprehension of compliance with payroll regulations and guidelines.
3. Demonstrate an advanced knowledge of the Human Capital systems understanding dependencies between systems and how they affect the overall payroll process.
4. Perform vital user acceptance system testing for a wide variety of processes and changes/updates to the Workday system.
5. Utilize audit/exception reports to identify and resolve any data or system issues prior to payroll processing.
6. Respond to incoming emails and calls received by HR Central timely and accurately.
7. Log all incoming calls from teammates/managers into Service Now and CRTS for purposes of research, resolution, and customer service quality.
8. Project positive image of Human Resources Division by providing superior client service in a professional manner, and respond with superior customer service to clients' inquires and concerns.
9. Act as liaison between other departments to resolve any issues that require collaboration with the Accounting, Tax, Reporting, Workday Support, and Teammate Relations teams to determine solutions to pending issues.
10. Make adjustments and corrections necessary to ensure the most accurate up-to-date teammate records are maintained.

QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:

1. Associate's degree or equivalent education and related training
2. Two years of experience in related area of discipline
3. Ability to perform payroll calculations, such as taxes for manual checks and pay rate for various adjustments
4. Demonstrated proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Office software products
5. Strong analytical skills, reasoning and organizational skills
6. Ability to handle complex situations which require sound judgment
7. Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office software products
8. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
9. Ability to read and interpret documents such as procedure manuals, tax and legal updates and payroll/benefits correspondence
10. Capacity to quickly learn and understand system functionality

Preferred Qualifications:
1. Fundamental of Payroll Certification (FPC) from the American Payroll Association
2. Six years of Workday payroll experience
