Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.
·Manages end to end process of Business Unit Risk Committee administration, including following 2nd Line process and procedures, agenda preparation, action item tracking, materials preparation, meeting walkthroughs, and approval flows
·Facilitates responses to requests, ensuring awareness across required teammates and timely responses
·Serves as central point of contact for communication between ET and Truist Policy and Procedure Management
·Consults on ET Policy Lifecycle Management to support GCO Program areas (example: Issues Management), document owners, and content owners
·Assists with management of Technology Standards approval process and workflow including process/framework documentation and annual approval.
·Assists as needed with monitoring, escalation, and internal reporting for policy governance, which includes specific Key Risk Indicators as defined by the Risk Management Office
·Generates content for GCO reporting and committee reporting
·Assists in the detection of emerging and/or under recognized risks
·Demonstrates Truist’s risk culture
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Communications or equivalent education and related training.
2. Eight to twelve years of financial services or risk management experience or demonstrated equivalent proficiency.
3. Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills with ability to interact and communicate within all levels of organization, across functions, and within public sector/governmental agencies.
4. Strong analytical, cognitive, conceptual, critical thinking and organizational skills.
5. Demonstrated leadership, communication (verbal and written), presentation and facilitation skills.
6. Demonstrated planning ability with demonstrated judgment, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
7. Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products.
Preferred Qualifications:
1.Prior experience with policy and committee management for a large financial institution
2.Proven ability to facilitate and manage interactions with across various parties with the ability to communicate concepts to senior leaders
3.High degree of independent judgement
4.Ability and willingness to work in fast-paced environment and commitment to meeting tight deadlines
5.Strong project management and organization skills, strong attention to details and ability to manage multiple assignments.
6. Strong experience in Excel is preferred.
