Please review the following job description:

Responsible for the development and maintenance of the Business Sales Practices Risk (BSPR) and Incentive Compensation (IC) Program requirements and execution of related governance and monitoring routines. Provides effective challenge, second line oversight and advisory support to related business unit risk management activities for BSPR and IC. Maintains program policies, procedures, and reporting. Coordinates with line of business and risk leaders’ enterprise-wide in their interpretation, implementation and execution of BSPR and IC program requirements. Participates in identification and resolution of issues, findings, emerging risks, and process improvement opportunities and in coordination of regulatory and audit requests. Provide support and oversight to risk programs by analyzing data used in monitoring routines, following up on trends and escalating identified emerging risks across BSPR and IC programs to management. Coordinates preparation of data summaries and related commentary for executive reporting. Contributes toward the development and maintenance of BSPR and IC key risk indicator metrics, metrics-based monitoring routines and data automation and validation efforts. Supports other initiatives within the Enterprise Ethics Office as needed to accomplish established strategic objectives.

Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time. 

1. Demonstrate and communicate effective challenge to business partners and senior leaders by assessing lines of business and third parties for BSPR and IC risk exposure. Provide subject matter knowledge industry related knowledge to support business partnership efforts as it relates to BSPR and IC.

2. Conduct governance oversight reviews, both vertically and horizontally, to confirm adherence to program and policy requirements and related procedures. Substantiate findings beyond documentation shortcomings to identify the root cause and promote effective solutions.

3. Provide ongoing communication and consultation to lines of business and other defined process contributors, including sharing of risk learnings, best practices and as well as providing thought leadership in identification, planning, and communicating of program expectations and ongoing program maturation requirements.

4. Develop and maintain program-level procedures. Review and provide input into LOB and process contributor supporting procedures.

5. Develop and provide training, as applicable, as well as review provide input into LOB and process contributor training content/materials.

6. Gather, review, and analyze LOB BSPR and IC related reporting, identifying trends or areas of risk exposure requiring research and/or risk mitigation. 

7. Prepares data summaries and compiles commentary as part of established executive reporting routines for BSPR and IC.

8. Maintains reporting and metrics-based monitoring procedures for BSPR and IC.

9. Coordinates the development and maintenance of BSPR and IC key indicator metrics and data automation and validation efforts in partnership with leaders across Enterprise Ethics Office and broader Risk Management Organization.

10. Work independently while exercising judgment, with minimal oversight, to ensure work is completed within deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.

11. Manage timely and quality delivery of multiple tasks, including detailed testing, monitoring and oversight protocols, project deliverables, and special assignments.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

2. Eight years of banking, audit, regulatory oversight, or risk management experience.

3. Five or more years of experience in a large financial services organization.

4. Demonstrated understanding of large financial institution risk management practices, including risk assessment and mitigation.

5. Demonstrated ability to assess, design and/or execute process design, including continuous process improvement principles and closed-loop accountabilities.

6. Demonstrated ability to manage and moderately complex projects and programs involving multiple stakeholder groups, with minimal oversight, as well as ensuring requirements are delivered in accordance with defined timeframes.

7. Demonstrated ability to grasp underlying concepts in complex information, identify root causes of problems/process breakdowns and the ability to formulate solutions based on synthesis of this data.

8. Strong data analysis and reporting skills, with a high attention to detail and accuracy.

9. Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

10. Ability to influence and consult strategically across a complex institution with various levels of stakeholders.

11. Adept with Microsoft Office products, Microsoft Excel in particular.

1. Large financial institution experience.

2. Experience with data analytics and reporting tools.
