Responsible for monitoring, supporting and management of Application running in Production including managing and correcting issues and providing break-fix operation support.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.
1. Drives all stages of the SDLC development process, providing inputs to the Development teams including designing, building, and testing. Develops useful tools such as internal software to automate key processes or platforms where customers can send inquiries and reviews. Troubleshoots technical issues.
2. Analyzes analysis of available data and find the root cause of the problem. Develops technical solutions by providing problem analysis and resolution in a timely manner and explain and interpret complex, difficult, or sensitive information. Provides users with progress updates.
3. Prepares extensive documentation when logging product issues including observations, diagnoses, and action steps. Generates weekly reports summarizing production performance, release notes for upgrades, and troubleshooting guides.
4. Takes a new perspective on existing solutions to solve problems of moderate to high complexity and exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
5. Lead small data engineering projects with manageable risks and resource requirements; plays significant roles in larger, more complex initiatives.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree and three years of experience in development or support or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
2. In-depth knowledge of data technologies (ETL, Data warehouse, Databases, SAS and other Analytics tools)
3. Strong analytical and critical thinking capabilities and ability to multi-task and work well under pressure
4. Previous experience in planning and managing IT projects
5. Knowledge of ITIL process
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree and 6 years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
2. Previous experience in management of Data platforms (ETL, Data warehouse, Databases, SAS and other Analytics tools)
3. Banking or financial services experience.
4. Mainframe Developer experience preferably in a Production Support role.
5. Experience with coding, unit testing. performance tuning and JCL scripting.
6. Familiarity with ChangeMan ZMF, File Manager, SPUFI, IBM Debug, ESP and CA WorkStation tools.
7. Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
8. Should be ready to work as On-call Support person in a highly demanding environment
9. Financial Services industry experience is highly desirable.
10. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
11. Should be available 24/7 to work on any Production or test issues
12. Prior Master Data Management experience is preferable
