SUPERVISES:

LOS Administrators.

GENERAL FUNCTIONS:

This position is responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation and maintenance of systems software and the related infrastructure as well as the support of these systems for all operational areas of Loan Origination Systems (LOS) and Product and Pricing Engine (PPE). The LOS Administration Manager is also responsible for day-to-day management and execution of multiple smaller scale mortgage software projects through the project lifecycle.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Management of several projects that promote the overall success of the organization as prioritized by Sr. Management.
  • Ensure proper communication with Management on timelines and progress of each project.
  • Review and maintenance of business requirements and processes to propose new solutions.
  • Coordinate new software implementations, software upgrades and testing efforts.
  • Responsible for the upkeep, configuration and reliable operation of the TruHome software systems.
  • Responsible for hiring, training, evaluating, promoting, compensating and disciplining department staff ensuring goals and objectives are met.
  • Develops and supports a strong support culture for TruHome and each Client Credit Union.
  • Assist in developing and measuring department goals, strategies and results.
  • Maintains open and productive communication with other managers within TruHome Solutions and with upper management.
  • Promotes honest and open communication throughout TruHome Solutions.
  • Demonstrate behaviors that are consistent with TruHome Solutions values, philosophies, and leadership characteristics.
  • Work with other credit union departments to ensure the workflow or process is providing the best service to the members.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of real estate law, secondary market underwriting guidelines, and title insurance.
  • Extensive knowledge of regulations governing real estate, including Regulations B, C, X, Z, Fair Housing Act and Fair Credit Reporting Act.
  • Extensive background relating to Fannie Mae/Secondary Market underwriting guidelines and requirements.
  • Demonstrates a proficiency of sales aptitude and knowledge of sales techniques.
  • Extensive experience utilizing a PC-based loan management system, which utilizes pipeline tracking and management capabilities.
  • Experienced in administrating and supporting web-based PPE application.
  • Experienced in providing effective leadership and supervision to staff.
  • Must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to project a high degree of professionalism and positive image of themselves and the CUSO.
  • Ability to communicate with other employees in the company in both technical and non-technical roles
  • Proficient in MS Work and Excel.
  • Ability to resolve interpersonal conflict and miscommunications.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Must be able to be bonded.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES:

In this position, individual will be expected to lift up to 20 pounds from time to time. Also, must be able to stoop, bend, reach or stand for extended periods of time. Must be able to sit and use a computer for extended periods of time.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

This position is expected to work in general office environment and may have to travel for visits to other credit union facilities or travel for training purposes.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree plus three or more years of management experience in a financial institution or mortgage banking operation is required.
  • Previous people management experience is preferred.
  • In place of the degree, an appropriate amount of financial institution or mortgage banking operation experience and supervisory experience to equal a total of seven years could be substituted.
