TrueSense Marketing is Hiring a Remote Director of Integrated Strategy

At TrueSense Marketing, The Director of Integrated Strategy leads the development and orchestration of omnichannel fundraising campaigns aimed at inspiring donors and driving revenue growth for nonprofit clients. Leveraging data-driven insights, this critical role will maximize donor engagement and lifetime value through integrated, optimized multichannel strategies and inventive creative.

The Director will collaborate cross-functionally with creative, analytics, account management, and other groups to translate performance results into actionable, integrated plans across direct mail, email, social media, digital advertising, events, and more. This leader will scale strategy appropriately based on individual client needs and mentor junior strategists on the team.

With a strong analytical approach, this role will derive strategic direction from historical performance data, donor portfolio trends, and industry benchmarks. The Director will stay on the pulse of new technologies and tactics relevant to nonprofit marketing. An expertise in metrics and measurement is key to uncovering insights that inform creative strategy and media mix modeling.

This hands-on role models breakthrough thinking and an innovative approach to developing integrated strategies aligned to clients' business goals. Success in this position requires excellent communication skills, multi-channel campaign leadership experience, and a solutions-oriented mindset.

Essential Functions:

  • Develop data-driven multichannel strategies and campaigns to acquire, retain and upgrade donors across direct mail, email, social, digital ads, journeys, SEM, and more
  • Continuously analyze performance data and optimize campaigns, offers, creative, targeting and channels to maximize ROI
  • Partner with analytics teams to model the impact of integrated multichannel campaigns and identify high-value donor segments
  • Work closely with creative teams to develop compelling messaging and experiences tailored to donor journeys
  • Collaborate with account teams to ensure strategies align to clients' business objectives and KPIs
  • Stay on top of innovations in fundraising channels and technologies to incorporate into strategies
  • Design and facilitate workshops to gain alignment on strategy amongst stakeholders
  • Manage timelines, budgets and team workflows to execute seamless integrated campaigns

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required in Mathematics, Marketing, Social Science or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of experience in a role in one or more of the following fields: strategy, fundraising, data analysis, direct response marketing or financial planning.
  • Solid understanding of marketing and fundraising channels and strategies including, but not limited to direct mail, email, social, SEM, SEO, CTV, etc.
  • Demonstrates an ability to be a data storyteller – taking complex concepts and transforming them into compelling marketing strategies.
