Truesdell Corporation is currently seeking an Assistant Superintendent to join our Midwest Region team based out of Camdenton, Missouri to assist in managing Bridge Maintenance Projects. This candidate will be able to travel within Missouri and to other states in the Midwest region for up to 2 weeks at a time, be a hard worker, dynamic leader and quickly able to manage multiple projects at one time. Our ideal candidate will enjoy travel, working on bridges, learning new skills, working with our fast-paced team and is excited about the opportunity to advance within our company.

Assistant Superintendent Responsibilities

• Assist the Superintendent in bridge deck overlays and other scopes related to bridge maintenance.
• Assist in helping manage projects and crews
• Assist in coordination that directs all subcontractors and vendor deliveries
• Assist in assigning crew members daily tasks and set daily goals.
• Able to think quickly to fix on-site issues and aid in creating recovery plans
• Help document daily work throughout the duration of the project
• Work well within the team environment.
• Maintain constant and regular attendance.
• Clean and maintain equipment including maintenance and operations of various power tools involved in bridge maintenance.
• Have the ability to shovel and handle other small tools

Requirements

• Ability to travel up to 80% of the year regionally
• Truesdell provides hotel, transportation, and daily mean stipend for travel.
• Ability to work variable shifts, nights, and weekends when necessary.
• Previous experiences of bridge maintenance, paving, or concrete.
• Knowledge and experience in construction
• Safety first mentality
• The ability to lead and mentor everyone on the job site
• A developed listening skill set and the ability to build relationships with the crew.
• Demonstrate awareness and understanding of OSHA and company safety requirements
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Compensation and Benefits Package:

• Salary is determined by experience and education, the range for this position is $55k-75k.
