Overview:
As a Cath Lab Tech, you will work under the supervision of the Assistant Director of Cardiology, performing a variety of technical procedures in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory. This role requires independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative in applying and prescribing ionizing radiation for radiological procedures. You will play a crucial role in assisting with diagnostic fluoroscopic angiographic procedures, coronary and peripheral interventions, and Electrophysiology procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in performing diagnostic procedures, interventions, and Electrophysiology procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab.
Prepare and monitor patients pre and post-procedure, reporting changes to the healthcare team.
Participate in equipment maintenance and supply management.
Proficient in CPR and emergency equipment usage.
Adhere to safety standards and maintain sterile technique.
Operate equipment and assist physicians during procedures.
Provide age-appropriate patient care.
Schedule: 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM -04:00 PM, with occasional on-call duties after hours and weekends as necessary.
Education:
Graduate of a CAHEP-accredited CVT program or completion of a 2-year Radiologic Technology training program approved by AMA.
For Radiologic Technology program graduates: CRT and Fluoroscopy are required.
Requirements:
Minimum of 1 year of Cardiac Catheterization Lab experience with EP & structural heart experience is required.
For CVT program graduates: Any one of the following credentials required: RCIS, or RCES credentials from CCI; or CEPS certification from IBHRE.
AHA BLS certification is required.
Days Per Week: 5.00
Hours per Week: 40.00
Hours Per Day: 08.00

Pay: $90.00 - $100.00 per hour
