Position Overview: We are seeking a talented and ambitious Entry-Level Structural Engineer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional to gain valuable experience and contribute to a variety of projects under the guidance of experienced engineers. As an Entry-Level Structural Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on challenging assignments, develop your skills, and grow your career in a supportive and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
· Create construction documents using AUTOCAD software including floor plans, sections, elevation, and details based on project specifications and requirements.
· Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to understand project objectives and translate concepts into accurate drawings.
· Ensure drawings adhere to industry standards and regulations.
· Assist senior engineers in the design and analysis of structural systems for various projects.
· Perform structural calculations and analyses using industry-standard software and tools.
· Participate in site visits, inspections, and meetings as required.
· Stay updated on industry trends, codes, and regulations to ensure compliance with best practices.
Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field with a focus on structural engineering.
· Strong academic background in structural emphasis.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with team members.
· Time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
· EIT certification or willingness to obtain certification within the first year of employment.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Internship or co-op experience in structural engineering or construction.
· Familiarity with building codes and regulations.
· Experience with software such as RISA 3D & ENERCALC.
