First Steps Recovery is the Valley's leading drug and alcohol treatment program with outpatient facilities in the Clovis and residences located in the foothills 20 minutes east.We offer a full continuum of care including: inpatient detox, residential treatment, partial hospitalization, and outpatient services. We are looking for highly skilled individuals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of those recovering from drug and alcohol addiction.‪

Primary Job Duties Include:

• ‪Conduct Case Management services, education, community outreach, and referrals to appropriate services and community resources (FMLA/STD/EDD Assistance/PLOA/LOA) Legal assistance, Community Services and applicable clinical services.
• ‪Participation in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings
• ‪Maintain individual client treatment files utilizing an electronic medical records (EMR) system in accordance with agency policies and procedures, Joint Commission standards, and all applicable state and federal laws.

‪Essential Qualifications:

• Minimum of one years of providing direct Social Work services in an intensive setting is preferred, substance abuse counseling is preferred;
• ‪Certification in Social Work Preferred. Applicable candidates may also have an active ASW Intern Number, Enrolled in School (BSW/MSW/LCSW)
• ‪Annual Tuberculosis test and health screening
• ‪Valid California Drivers license and automobile insurance;
• ‪Graduation from an accredited four-year college with a degree in Addiction Counseling, Criminal Justice, Social Work, Psychology or a related field is preferred.
