We are currently seeking the following at our dealership located in Birmingham, AL:

EXPERIENCED CLASS 8 UPFITTER/SERVICE TECHNICIAN

This position is responsible to perform high quality, efficient work on class 8 trucks while installing wet line kits, headache racks, and metal fabrication. We offer technicians:

• Top pay based on experience with hourly and flat rate pay plans available.
• Bonus pay available based on productivity/efficiency.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Current, valid driver’s license
• Must have CDL, or be willing to obtain one shortly after hire
• Good driving record
• The ability to use good judgement and decision-making skills
• Dependability
• Metal fabrication
• Welding
• Hydraulic systems knowledge
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally with assistance, stand for multiple hours during shift, and regularly stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, handle and feel
