Troon is looking for a Digital Marketing Intern for the summer! The Digital Marketing Intern is responsible for assisting the Troon Sales & Marketing Department’s delivery of digital marketing support to the Troon brand and its portfolio of managed facilities. This will be a hybrid work schedule based out of the Reston, VA office. 

Essential Duties:

• Working with sales and marketing team in an effort to support clubs and partners with various tasks
• Working with digital team to implement and report on paid social campaigns for clubs
• Curating content for Troon’s social channels.
• Assisting with the development and promotion of Troon Rewards, Troon Card and other Troon programs
• Assisting regional Sales & Marketing Coordinators with social content scheduling, email & app marketing, and other recurring tasks
• Visiting & networking with Mid-Atlantic properties to learn more about field positions from Membership Directors, Communication Managers etc.

Education/Experience:

Enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program

Job Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Preferences: 

• Familiarity and experience with paid and organic social media strategies and platforms (can be through coursework, student agency, or otherwise)
• Excellent organizational skills
• Experience with content creation
• A willingness to learn and take initiative
