The applicant chosen will need to be highly motivated and prepared to work in a very busy practice. Performing various patient care activities and related services in caring for the needs and comfort of patients under the direction of the physician or mid-level provider. The RN/CMA/LPN duties will include but are not limited to: clinic nurse visits and telemental health, obtaining basic assessment information, including vital signs, EKG's, and point of care test; advocating for patients; administering prescribed medications, preparing exam rooms, procedure room, and assisting providers; documenting in the EMR according to TSMH policy and procedures.
The perfect person will have experience in a clinic or private practice working 1:1 with a provider. Will be patient focused, organized and have the ability to function as a part of a large team. The position is 2 days a week, approximately 10 hours a day.
Licensures/ Certifications:
Washington State Registered Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse/Washington State Medical Assistant - Certified certification required. Current American Heart Association BLS/CPR certification card on hire or within orientation period.
Experience:
2 years of previous clinic experience preferred; experience with immunizations preferred.
