Job Summary and Qualifications

What you will do in this role:

• You will demonstrate the ability to manage multiples tasks and projects in a productive manner.
• You will demonstrate interdepartmental support and teamwork through a supportive and collaborative approach.
• Your role ensures staff compliance with policies and procedures, mandatory requirements, and licensure and certification requirements.
• You will meet mutually agreed upon performance goals/objectives as listed in the Performance Management Plan.
• Your role establishes orientation and annual competency criteria for staff and ensures successful completion.
• You will demonstrate ability to identify strategic management initiatives.
• You will communicate in a professional manner.
• You will respond in a timely manner to requests for information or follow-up with physician, staff, or patient issues.
• You will serve as a role model.
• You will work in staffing as scheduled and as needed.
This position entails potential for exposure to hazardous medications as defined by TriStar StoneCrest Medical Center’s Hazardous Drug Policy as either hazardous or antineoplastic. All facility-endorsed risk mitigation strategies for handling hazardous medications must be followed appropriately.

What qualifications you will need:

• Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing
• Current Tennessee RN license
• Previous management experience in a hospital setting required
• Associates required, BSN/Masters preferred
• Current Fetal Monitoring certification or must be acquired within twelve months of hire
• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 60 months of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Neonate Resuscitate must be obtained within 60 months of employment start date
