Job Summary and Qualifications

As a TriStar Food & Nutrition Patient Service Representative, you will be a skilled professional dedicated to providing exceptional service to patients by ensuring their dietary needs are met with quality food and supplies. Your responsibilities will include obtaining patient food preferences, preparing and delivering meals promptly, and maintaining accurate patient information. Upholding excellent customer service standards is paramount in this role.

What you will do in this role:

• You will obtain patient menu preferences in accordance with dietary restrictions to ensure personalized meal plans.
• You will prepare, deliver, and collect patient meals in a timely manner, adhering to dietary requirements.
• You will deliver, label, and monitor nourishments and tube feedings as required.
• You will accurately maintain and update patient information in the Computrition Hospitality Suite.
• You will complete tasks within designated timeframes, prioritize effectively, and manage multiple responsibilities during peak workload situations.
• You will maintain a clean and organized work area and demonstrate knowledge of emergency procedures and safety protocols.
• You will strive for customer satisfaction by displaying courteous behavior and utilizing AIDET principles when interacting with patients, guests, and coworkers.
• You will listen to constructive criticism, respond to supervisor requests promptly, and collaborate with the team effectively.
• You will work independently or as part of a team, adjust schedules as needed, and demonstrate willingness to learn new methods and procedures.
• You will actively participate in continuing education, complete mandatory in-service requirements, and contribute to department meetings and trainings.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma preferred; equivalent combination of education and/or experience accepted
• 1 year of food service experience preferred
• Food Handlers or ServSafe Certificate preferred (must be obtained within 90 days of hire)
