We are currently representing a client in Reston, VA, seeking a Temporary Data Analyst to join their team. This position offers an excellent opportunity for recent college graduates to gain valuable experience in data analysis.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights to support business decision-making.
- Clean and preprocess data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Utilize VLOOKUP and pivot tables in Excel for data organization and manipulation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver actionable insights.
- Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings effectively.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP and pivot tables.
- Experience working with large datasets and performing data analysis.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as SQL, Python, or R.
- Previous internship or work experience in a data-related role.
