TriSource is Hiring a 1:1/Classroom Aide Near Baltimore, MD

Are you currently looking for a full time opportunity, working directly with children?

TriSource is seeking dedicated a 1:1 Aide's to begin working in a classroom setting working with well known non-profit organization.

The schools we are working with are located within Baltimore County and Baltimore City.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with vulnerable population
  • Experience and/or comfortability working with children who have developmental and intellectual disabilities
  • Experience working with behaviors and comfortability providing crisis intervention
  • Ability to work in a classroom setting/ group home
  • Reliable transportation
  • Clean background and ability to pass a drug screen
  • High school diploma
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Must be COVID Vaccinated

Responsibilities:

  • Supervises and manages student behavior in the classroom
  • Maintains proper rules, safety and security of students, providing crisis intervention when necessary.
  • Oversees student to ensure they are on track academically/ following IEP
  • Provides verbal cues and physical de-escalation tools when student is in crisis
  • Supports teaching staff when assistance is requested
  • Provides companionship for children and adolescents who have survived turmoil
  • Works alongside children and adolescents who have behavioral issues
  • Maintains a safe and calm environment
  • Assists with ADL’s to ensure smooth operation of the day

Schedules:

Baltimore City-

  • Monday- Friday 7:45am-2:45pm

Baltimore County-

  • Monday- Friday 8:30am-3:30pm
