Tripping Travel is Hiring a Remote Booking Professional - Remote

As a Remote Booking Professional, you will be responsible for handling travel bookings and reservations for clients, ensuring smooth and efficient arrangements for their trips. Working remotely, you will utilize your expertise in travel planning, excellent communication skills, and attention to detail to provide exceptional service and create memorable travel experiences. Your ability to navigate booking platforms, understand client preferences, and deliver personalized recommendations will contribute to client satisfaction and loyalty.

Responsibilities:

  1. Travel Planning and Booking:

    • Assist clients in booking flights, hotels, rental cars, tours, and other travel services, using booking platforms, reservation systems, and preferred suppliers.
    • Research and provide information on destinations, accommodations, transportation options, and activities to meet client preferences and budget requirements.
    • Customize travel itineraries based on client needs, interests, and any special requests.
  2. Reservation Management:

    • Manage travel reservations, including verifying availability, pricing, and booking details, to ensure accuracy and compliance with client preferences.
    • Process bookings, modifications, and cancellations promptly and accurately, following company policies and procedures.
    • Coordinate with travel suppliers, airlines, hotels, and other partners to confirm reservations, resolve discrepancies, and secure special requests or upgrades.
  3. Customer Service and Communication:

    • Serve as the main point of contact for clients, providing assistance, support, and personalized recommendations throughout the booking process.
    • Communicate with clients via phone, email, or messaging platforms to address inquiries, provide updates, and resolve issues related to travel arrangements.
    • Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor, demonstrating empathy, patience, and attentiveness to client needs and concerns.
  4. Sales and Upselling:

    • Identify opportunities to enhance clients' travel experiences through additional services, upgrades, or special offers.
    • Promote travel insurance, ancillary services, loyalty programs, and other supplementary products to maximize revenue and customer satisfaction.
  5. Documentation and Record-Keeping:

    • Maintain accurate and organized records of client interactions, bookings, payments, and correspondence.
    • Prepare and distribute travel documentation, including itineraries, confirmations, tickets, and invoices, in a clear and timely manner.
    • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and data protection standards in handling client information.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of travel destinations, accommodations, and attractions are a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a customer-centric approach.
  • Proficiency in using computer software, booking systems, and online tools for travel reservations and communication.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and remotely, while also collaborating effectively with team members and mentor.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities, work schedules, and client preferences.
  • High-speed internet connection and a dedicated workspace suitable for remote work.

Working Conditions:

Salary: Can make up to $65,000 yearly.
