Key Leadership Responsibilities:

As the Director of Finance, you will orchestrate the financial symphony of TRIO Heating & Air, setting the stage for strategic brilliance and financial ascendancy.

Your pivotal responsibilities encompass:

  • Strategic Financial Stewardship: Propel the organization forward through visionary financial planning, strategic foresight, and unparalleled fiscal stewardship.
  • Executive Decision Mastery: Collaborate intimately with the CEO and executive team, providing astute financial counsel to inform and shape executive decisions.
  • Risk Mastery: Navigate the intricate landscape of financial risks with finesse, fortifying the financial foundation and ensuring resilience.
  • Capital Maestro: Conduct a virtuoso performance in capital optimization, deftly managing investments, and maximizing resource efficiency.
  • Exemplary Financial Governance: Uphold an unassailable standard of financial governance, compliance, and ethical brilliance.
  • Stakeholder Alchemy: Transcend mere communication, translating financial insights into strategic gold for the board, investors, and internal stakeholders.
  • M&A Virtuosity: Lead the financial overture for potential mergers and acquisitions, weaving financial brilliance into the fabric of strategic business evolution.
  • Team Leadership Opus: Conduct a symphony of leadership, mentoring and leading a virtuoso finance team towards excellence and continuous improvement.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Investment Due Diligence Leader: Act as the trusted advisor and thought partner to the VP of Sales, providing invaluable financial insights for strategic decision-making.
  • Operational & Legal Due Diligence: Coordinate the entire investment process, including operational and legal due diligence, ensuring seamless execution of investment recommendations.
  • Thematic Impact Investing: Develop and support new investment recommendations, inclusive of thematic impact investing strategies.
  • Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with 3rd party asset managers and industry contacts, contributing to the expansion of Wetherby’s and LNWM’s network.
  • Continuous Research: Maintain a continuous understanding of relevant asset class dynamics, contributing to firm-wide asset allocation, portfolio construction, and risk management processes.
  • Innovative Contributions: Generate new ideas to improve the investment process, creating greater context for portfolio construction and manager selection.
  • Client-Focused Collaboration: Participate in client meetings, creating internal investment communication, and contributing to client-friendly investment-related publications.

Qualifications:

  • Experience & Network: Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in manager research/capital allocation, with a relevant industry network.
  • Analytical Excellence: Excellent organizational, analytical, critical thinking, communication, and social skills.
  • Technology Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (with an emphasis on Excel), experience with relevant financial tools and databases.
  • Programming Skills: Experience with programming languages, databases, and tools; knowledge of Python is a plus.
  • Educational Enhancement: Higher degree (MBA or similar), or participation in CFA program is a plus.

Compensation:

  • Competitive annual salary ranging from $150,000 to $200,000, commensurate with your distinguished experience.
