Summary

In this position, you will be responsible for maintenance of the grounds, buildings, and equipment at our local TriNova offices to ensure that our workspaces are safe, functional, and clean. Responsibilities include oversight of our mechanical systems, pest control, electrical systems, waste systems, and logistics in our warehouse. This position will be a 90-day assignment with a strong possibility for permanent placement.

Prime Responsibilities

• Performs routine building maintenance and repairs on all buildings
• Monitors and inspects interior and exterior areas for safety and cleanliness
• Ensures all lighting fixtures are in working order
• Helps to prepare facilities for severe weather conditions
• Ensures all HVAC systems are in good working order through preventative maintenance and notifies Facilities Manager immediately if a repair issue has been identified.
• Ensures all Utility Systems (Water/Sewer/Electricity) are in good working order through preventative maintenance and effecting repairs on systems where needed and licensed to do so; notifies Facilities Manager when contracting of services for repair is needed on these systems.
• Maintains day-to-day operations of facilities, ensuring maintenance orders are completed in a timely fashion
• Facilitates shipping and receiving of packages and freight as needed and when possible
• Builds automation panels as instructed by the Service Department for upcoming jobs
• Assists Facilities Manager in warehouse logistics and organization
• Other duties as assigned

Education/Experience

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 1-2 years of relevant experience or a combination of experience and education

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Electrical Experience
• Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
• Working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices
• Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills
• Ability to frequently life and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds

Travel

• Some travel to our Louisiana offices may be required
