The Engineering Specialist shall have a knowledge and understanding of structural building systems, particularly wood framed residential construction.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Possess the ability to review existing structures for the addition of solar PV systems.

• Determine if upgrades to building structures are required.

• Prepare evaluation documents for submission to the building department.

• Provide additional support to field crews.

Qualifications & Experience

• 0-2 years relevant experience

• Engineering technology degree is preferred, will consider a combination of education and relevant experience

• Working knowledge of building codes, particularly wood framing

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office; Salesforce is a plus

• Team player with good communication skills

• Able to multitask and work on several small projects concurrently
