Trinity Industries, Inc. is hiring a Material Handler Lead at our Fort Worth, Tx plant.

The Material Handler Lead position is a great opportunity for a resilient, team-minded individual who doesn’t stray away from a challenge.

• Operates mobile equipment (heavy equipment, forklift, cranes, yard vehicle, and lift truck) to move materials/products between warehouse/manufacturing facilities.
• Will utilize computer software to identify materials/goods, ensure accuracy of purchase orders and maintain inventory.
• Assures that material counts are accurately reflected in the system and material is stored according to defined policies and procedures. 
• Safely operates appropriate equipment for movement of materials. 
• Ensures the effectiveness of operating procedures, space utilization, and maintenance and protection of facilities and equipment.
• Performs put-away and picking functions utilizing BPCS bar code devices.
• Maintains accurate stock counts, locations, and product IDs in assigned areas.
• Rearranges material as directed for optimization.
• Initiates and maintains all applicable paperwork as required.
• Follows all safety rules and practices. May be involved in safety committees or initiatives.
• Assists with scheduling and assignments.
• Inventory optimization activities
• Conducting inventory accuracy audits & adjustments 
• Use of mobile devices to perform inventory transactions.
• Performing inventory problem troubleshooting and correction
• Performs other duties as assigned.
