What You Will Do:

• Enhance the overall quality of nursing care by implementing performance improvement techniques that enhance patient well-being.
• Foster effective communication, both written and verbal, with colleagues, patients, and their families.
• Educate patients and families to foster a clear understanding of the care provided.
• Utilize computer-based applications and standard software to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
• Demonstrate problem-solving, conflict resolution, and positive communication within a collaborative team environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education: Graduate of an accredited R.N. program.
• Licensure: Current Connecticut R.N. license required; CPR required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification preferred.
• Experience: Proficiency in Windows-based computer systems, Microsoft Office Suite, multitasking, problem-solving, and decision-making. Ability to organize, analyze, and interpret clinical data accurately.
• Experience: 2 years of related clinical and/or hospital experience, with familiarity in a hospital or ambulatory care setting preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $34.00 - $57.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
