Emergency Room Technician

Duties:
- Assist medical staff in the emergency room with various tasks and procedures
- Perform phlebotomy to collect blood samples for laboratory testing
- Catheterize patients when necessary
- Assist with suturing wounds under the supervision of a healthcare provider
- Utilize medical terminology and anatomy knowledge to accurately document patient information
- Conduct venipuncture to obtain blood specimens for testing
- Monitor and record vital signs of patients, including temperature, blood pressure, and heart rate
- Adhere to aseptic technique to maintain a sterile environment in the emergency room
- Assist in transporting patients within the hospital as needed

Experience:
- Previous experience working in an emergency room or similar healthcare setting is preferred
- Proficiency in phlebotomy techniques and catheterization procedures
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
- Ability to perform venipuncture accurately and efficiently
- Familiarity with monitoring and recording vital signs of patients
- Understanding of aseptic technique and infection control practices

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Per diem

Pay: $20.98 - $25.26 per hour
