Description

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• Operate bulk sewing machine to produce 50 or 100 lb. bags of product.
• Read and understand daily production schedule.
• Ability to operate an automatic palletizer and perform minor troubleshooting.
• Operate the automatic 2000 lb. tote filler and perform minor trouble shooting. 
• Work in coordination with forklift driver for removal of completed product off the line.
• Communicate with management and maintenance personnel on a timely basis to facilitate maintenance and repairs.
• Comply with company safety policies and maintain clean and orderly work area.
• Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Safe Quality Food (SQF) procedures including timely and accurate documentation of required SQF forms.
• Perform other duties as assigned by 139 Supervisor or Lead

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERTISE

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of 6 months to one year or more of related experience in a manufacturing environment preferred

• Experience and ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work well with all levels of employees whether individually or in a team environment.
• Ability to perform basic math skills.
• Effectively communicate questions, problems and reports to co-workers, supervisory and management personnel.
• Flexibility to accommodate unscheduled changes in duties and work overtime as needed.
• Must display a positive attitude and work well with all levels of personnel.
